Yesterday we were invited to a birthday party, or actually it was Katherine who invited us. That’s how it works. If you have some friends you want to bring, even though it’s not your party, you invite them.
Kate’s mother Path were celebrating her 57 birthday, so she had rented a place with good view over all
- Something I recognized through this evening is how grateful they are. How they thank God for everyday of their life, how grateful they are to be able to be one year older. How grateful they are to their parents for raising them up, giving them money to education and how grateful they are for their friends. Some of them have had a though life, struggling to get enough food or living in war. But they never seemed to loose their faith. And the love they have for each other is unique. This evening gave me a reminder to be more grateful and not taking things for granted… I know I don’t say it enough; so thank you, friends and family for being a part of my life.
